Listening to you
NHS Birmingham East and North is committed to listening to the needs of the population it serves. It does this in the following ways.
Patient and Public Involvement
Our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) team works with various community groups, staff and patients to increasingly influence the commissioning, improvement and redesign of services. It also endorses the NHS Constitution and aims to meet the duty to involve.
Patient Advice and Liaison Service
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is free and confidential and can help if you need advice or have concerns about NHS services. You can contact the service between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday on 0800 328 3205 or email palsbenpct@nhs.net. Leave a message outside of these hours.
Complaints
The Complaints Department is there if any services do not meet your expectations.
Community Development Workers
Community Development workers are involved with Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in the area to reduce the stigma of mental health and consult with local communities to cater community led mental health services.
